Serie A giants Inter have now made contact for Porto’s Mehdi Taremi, as they continue to hunt for a centre forward.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Inter now have three options left on the table when it comes to striker options. Those are Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun, Udinese’s Beto and Porto’s Taremi.
They have now established initial contact for Taremi, for whom Inter have now established the potential conditions of a deal. Porto want €30 million to sell the striker and have made that aware to the Nerazzurri. Porto would also want the same fee from Tottenham, who are also interested in the Iran international.
It remains to be seen if Inter actually make an offer for Taremi or not, with Balogun also liked a lot by the club. Milan had also previously established contacts with the Portuguese side for Taremi but the move didn’t materialise due to their initial issues around non-EU players.
