Inter reach verbal agreement with Bayern Munich for Yann Sommer

Inter are now closing in on a move for Bayern Munich goalkeeper Yann Sommer, who is expected to join the Nerazzurri.

The former Serie A champions have already sold Andre Onana to Manchester United, with Samir Handanovic also having departed the club and is now a free agent. As things stand, Inter do not have a starting goalkeeper.

La Repubblica state that they should soon have a new first-choice goalkeeper. An agreement between Inter and Bayern now exists for Sommer and while it is still a verbal agreement, the move is expected to go through soon enough. The agreement between the clubs is at โ‚ฌ4 million and Inter will pay bonuses that will take the deal to close to โ‚ฌ6 million, which is the amount requested by the Bavarians.

The Swiss goalkeeper has already given his approval to the move and he wants the transfer, with the move now one step away.
