All smiles for Inter coach Simone Inzaghi as Marko Arnautovic has resumed first-team action earlier today.
According to reports from Sky Italia, via Fcinter1908, the former Bologna marksman took part in this morningโs group training session after having been on the sidelines for roughly two months after suffering a thigh injury in the Nerazzurriโs 1-0 victory over Empoli.
As a result, the Austrian veteran is deemed available for the Beneamataโs vital mid-week fixture in the Champions League where they are set to face Red Bull Salzburg in match-week four of the continental tournament.
Since joining Inter from Bologna in the summer transfer window, Arnautovic has failed to make a significant impact in the final third of the pitch as he only recorded a single assist in five fixtures across all competitions.
The 34-year-old marksman is eager to prove himself under the former Lazio boss as he faces stiff competition with four strikers available at Inzaghiโs disposal heading into a crucial stage of the 2023/24 campaign.
