Inter are yet to agree terms over a new deal with striker Edin Džeko and they see Gianluca Scamacca as a potential replacement for the Bosnian.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Inter have proposed a one-year deal to the striker, who is currently aiming to sign a two-year deal. The player’s entourage and Inter had met earlier in the spring to update on the situation.
Džeko does have a willingness to play in the United States in the future but he believes that he can still play for top clubs in Europe. If parties don’t reach an agreement, Inter will seek replacements and they see Scamacca as one. The Italian is someone that Inter have kept tabs on for a while now.
His situation at West Ham is currently complicated but he wants to grab attention of Roberto Mancini for the Azzurri. That is why a move to Inter could become a possibility. The finances of a potential move can’t be ascertained yet but there could be a willingness from both parties.
