Inter set to offer two-year deal to Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta

Inter are keen on signing Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta and they have a two-year contract offer ready for the Spaniard.

Sky Italia report that Inter have identified Azpilicueta as a key target to bolster the backline, amidst the exits of Milan Skriniar and Danilo D’Ambrosio. The Spaniard’s current contract at Chelsea runs out in the summer of 2024 but he could leave the club this summer.

HIs agents are working on freeing him from his current deal, after which he will be able to join his next club for free. Inter already have a two-year deal ready and waiting for the 33-year-old, who has vast experience of playing for club and country and during his time at Stamford Bridge, he has played at right centre-back, right-back and even at right wing-back, constantly showing his versatility and leadership.

He made 32 appearances in all competitions last season and 25 of them came in the Premier League, with five coming in the Champions League.
