Inter set to prioritise Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun

Serie A giants Inter are now looking set to prioritise a move for Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun, as they remain keen on signing a striker.

A host of names are on Inter’s shortlist but Alfredo Pedulla reports that after having spoken to the entourage of Alvaro Morata, they are now set to prioritise a move for Balogun, who impressed in a loan stint at Reims last season.

Inter know that to sign Balogun, they would have to make a bigger financial sacrifice than what they were doing for Romelu Lukaku as the American could cost more, but the Nerazzurri believe that the youngster is the perfect investment at this point and also for the future.

Other names such as Gianluca Scamacca and Beto remain alternatives in the background and they have now stopped their move for Morata, for whom they do not want to go beyond €15 million. Inter believe that they still have a chance of signing Balogun and till the time they feel that, they will keep pushing for the striker.
