Inter set to sign Davy Klaassen on deadline day

Inter are set to land Dutch midfielder Davy Klaassen, with the midfielder arriving from Dutch giants Ajax.

The Nerazzurri were looking to make sure that they add another midfielder to their ranks late in the transfer window and a host of names were linked with him. But it seems as if they have finally landed a new midfielder.

Fabrizio Romano has reported about the situation of the midfielder, stating that he will join Inter on a free transfer and he is already in Milan to undergo a medical with Simone Inzaghi’s side today. A two-year deal is already on the table for the ex-Everton man, who has been given permission by Ajax to go to Italy and seal the move amidst talk about the fact that the Dutch side could be willing to let Klaassen on a free transfer.

Donny van de Beek and Tanguy Ndombele were also linked with a move to Inter but their profiles didn’t convince the Nerazzurri.
