Inter ultras request meeting with Juan Cuadrado ahead of transfer

Former Juventus wing-back Juan Cuadrado is on the verge of joining Inter but the clubโ€™s ultras want to have a meeting with the Colombian soon.

La Repubblica state that while Curva Nord had initially planned a protest against the Nerazzurriโ€™s incoming move for Cuadrado but that didnโ€™t take place as initially scheduled. But the Curva Nordโ€™s represents did speak to Inter about their concerns over the signing of the ex-Juve man.

The ultras had concerns about Cuadradoโ€™s behaviour against Inter, with the most recent episode coming in the Coppa Italia after which the wing-back was handed a suspension. Cuadrado had punched former Inter captain Samir Handanovic and that didnโ€™t go down well with the Curva Nord.

But they have, after a meeting with Inter, have understood what Cuadrado will offer tactically and have dropped the opinion that โ€˜Panitaโ€™ shouldnโ€™t play for the Nerazzurri. They have now requested to have a face-to-face meeting with the ex-Fiorentina star as they want to make the clubโ€™s values clear to him, with the veteran expected to undergo a medical tomorrow.
