Jose Mourinho: “I’ve won a cup and a half at Roma”

Jose Mourinho has stated his belief that he has won a cup and a half during his time at Roma and he has some more months left to win more.

Mourinho did win the UEFA Conference League with the Giallorossi in his first season at the club and last season, he took the club to the Europa League final, only to lose to Sevilla. The Portuguese has been vocal about the refereeing in that final, as he recently stated that he didn’t lose the game against the Spanish side that day.

Yesterday, Roma picked up a 2-0 win over Frosinone and it was only their second league win of the campaign and before that, it was the worst start to any season in Mourinho’s entire career. The Giallorossi boss, whose contract runs out in the summer, spoke to Sky Italia (via La Gazzetta dello Sport) recently and stated his belief that he has won a cup and a half at the club already during his stint.

“I won a cup and a half with Roma, I wasn’t able to win two cups in Rome but I won some one and a half and I have another six months here.”

There has been talk about Mourinho’s future at the club but after the win yesterday, he refused to speak in detail about it.
