Jose Mourinho wants Roma stay

Roma boss Jose Mourinho wants to stay at the club this summer despite rumours linking him with an exit from the club.

Il Messaggero today have reported about the managerial situation at Roma, as Mourinho’s gestures after the game against Spezia seemed to suggest that he will stay at the club next season. The report from Il Messaggero states that Mourinho has vowed to go on at the Gialllorossi next season but he would only like to control things on the pitch. He doesn’t want to be involved in the off-field stuff and transfers anymore.

He wants to compete in achieving greater goals next season and wants to make sure that Roma qualify for the Champions League next season. Foundations are present for him to continue at the club but he is yet to come to an agreement with the Friedkins. A budget for transfers for the summer is yet to be ascertained and all of that planning will have to be done as soon as possible, or there could be risk about Mourinho’s exit.
