Turkish wonderkid Arda Güler has been linked to AC Milan multiple times over the last few days, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Luca Bianchin, it won’t be an easy deal to make for the Rossoneri.
The 18-year-old Güler has been a hot topic on the transfer market recently, with Europe’s biggest teams reportedly chasing the Fenerbahçe wonderkid. Even Real Madrid and Barcelona seemingly on the hunt for Güler. The youngster, who already played 4 matches for his country, has a €17.5 million release clause, making it an interesting deal for a lot of teams.
Milan is another team in the race for Güler’ signature. La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Luca Bianchin exclusively told GIFN about the situation:
“Milan is in love with the player and talked with Fenerbahçe and his camp. However, it won’t be easy for Milan to spend €20 million for Arda and leave him in Turkey for one year, as Fenerbahçe desires. Next week will will be very important”.
Last season, Güler played 20 matches for the Turkish side, scoring 4 goals and assisting 2. Those are impressive numbers for someone that is just 18 years old. Güler scored against Wales in the Euros qualification last Monday during a substitute appearance as well.
