Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot silences critics with another impressive performance v Fiorentina

At the Allianz Stadium, Juventus managed to beat Fiorentina 1-0 and climbed into 9th in the Serie A table, courtesy of an Adrien Rabiot first-half goal.

The Frenchman was impressive in the game against Salernitana as well and the performance allowed Juventus to catapult themselves over the lower midtable to the higher reaches of the midtable. But as per Opta, no other Juventus player has scored more goals at home this season than Rabiot (6).

Rabiot was close to leaving Juve in the summer for Manchester United after his poor performances for the Bianconeri had convinced the club into selling him. But he is now redeeming himself at a time when times haven’t been great for the club on and off the pitch.

While he may yet leave on a free transfer in the summer, his performances are helping him make a mark and make sure that other clubs take notes and come for him in the summer.
