Juventus boss Max Allegri likely to reject Saudi Arabia approach

Juventus manager Max Allegri has attracted attention from Saudi Arabia but he seems likely to snub the approaches.

La Repubblica today state that Saudi Arabia have indeed returned with a better offer for Allegri, who is being offered €120 million across a three-year period. But Allegri is peacefully on holiday in Sardinia with his son Giorgio and gives the impression of resisting the charm of the offers that the Saudi Arabians have put forward for him.

He is already working remotely with Juventus and planning for next season and attempting to improve the squad. He has a daily contact with Juve sporting director Giovanni Manna and has regular video calls with him too.

It is true that there are undercurrents at Juve that are against Allegri, who doesn’t have excellent relations with all the players. But the club have decided to continue with him and it will be very unlikely that Allegri turns his back on the Bianconeri. He has not asked for any time for reflection, which again shows that he is not considering an exit.
