Serie A giants Juventus have recently held a meeting for a contract renewal involving winger Federico Chiesa.
The Italian has impressed this season and Giovanni Albanese has reported that a meeting involving the parties was on the agenda for a while. Juventus sporting director Cristiano Guintoli met Chiesaโs agent Fali Ramadani in the morning earlier today.
It is stated that last summer, Chiesa was on the shortlist of around three to four English clubs and there was a possibility of them making big offers for him. Juve are open to potentially considering big offers for Chiesa and as things stand, there remains a gap between valuation for the new deal.
If the agreement isnโt reached, it seems likely that Chiesa will leave next summer. Relations between the two parties are good and that could aid the talks, which are still at an initial stage. But next summer, Chiesa will have a lot of power to make a call, especially if he doesnโt sign a new deal with the Bianconeri.
