Juventus hold talks with Galatasaray over Nicolo Zaniolo swap deal

Serie A giants Juventus have held talks with Galatasaray about a potential swap deal involving Nicolo Zaniolo.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported about the situation of Zaniolo, stating that Gala spoke to Juve about their interest in Weston McKennie recently and due to Juve’s interest in Zaniolo, a swap deal involving the two players was spoken about by the two clubs.

Conversations about McKennie have taken place for the last few days and talks are still at a very initial stage, with Juve looking to sell the American on a permanent basis. Yesterday the president of the Turkish club, Dursun Özbek, was in Milan and had other contacts with the Bianconeri. There is a willingness from Gala to sign McKennie on a permanent basis and they have expressed willingness to sell Zaniolo too.

Zaniolo has a release clause in his current deal and amidst links with Fiorentina, it has been suggested that Gala would have to sell the player for less than the clause if they want to move him on to Italy.
