Juventus in contact with Marco Verratti’s agents in case of PSG sale

Marco Verratti has been portrayed as the scapegoat for PSG’s elimination in Champions League, so much so that there have been rumors about a potential sale and Daniele Longo reports that Juventus are following the evolution of this case.

The Bianconeri do have a great relationship with Rafaela Pimenta, who is Verratti’s agent and the person who has contributed the most in bringing Paul Pogba back in Turin.

Juventus are ready to prepare an offer in the case PSG might be open to a sale. Nevertheless this scenario appears far from reality.

PSG’s owner Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has no intention to consider potential offers for Marco Verratti and he sees him as symbol for the club.

Verratti joined PSG in 2012 straight from Serie B’s side Pescara. Since then he has played 407 games across all competitions and he’s on path to become the most capped player in club’s history beating Jean-Marc Pilorget’s record (435).

In 2017, Verratti was close to joining Barcelona but the deal collapsed and he then resigned with PSG. He played 51 games with the National team, winning the European Championships in 2021, but he has never played in Serie A.
