Juventus in talks with Leicester City for Timothy Castagne

Serie A giants Juventus are speaking to former Premier League side Leicester City about the possibility of signing ex-Atalanta full-back Timothy Castagne.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that while Juve have considered many names for the full-back role, they are strongly interested in Castagne, who would be keen on returning to Serie A after having endured relegation with the Foxes last season.

Juve have already contacted Leicester for the Belgium international, with the English side informing Juve that they would sell he player for €15 million. Max Allegri has already given his approval for the move, with Juve considering whether they could thrash out a more favourable deal. Allegri rates Castagne’s functionality for his current system at Juve.

Castagne had joined Leicester from Atalanta and last season, he was a regular for the Foxes. He played 37 games and scored two goals but couldn’t help the club survive the drop. In recent days, Arsenal have also been linked with the player.
