Juventus keeping tabs on Atletico Madrid’s Mario Hermoso

With defender Alex Sandro likely to leave Juventus in the summer, Atletico Madrid’s Mario Hermoso is a potential target for the Bianconeri.

Marco Conterio has reported that Cristiano Guintoli is working towards building for the future and Juventus in general have kept an eye on Hermoso for a while. Even during his Espanyol days, the defender was someone that Juve had on their shortlist and his name could become important now.

The defender’s contract runs out in the summer and that is why his name is climbing up the Bianconeri shortlist. While his entourage has denied it, Juve did make contact for Hermoso in the summer. Earlier, other Serie A clubs have also made contact for him. But then, Diego Simeone wanted the player to stay and he ended up signing a new deal at Atletico.

But this summer could be a potential opportunity for Juve, who would want to sign the 28-year-old on a free transfer.
