Serie A giants Juventus are expected to renew Adrien Rabiot’s contract in the next few days.
According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are willing to offer Adrien Rabiot a contract extension for another year or two if he decides to slightly reduce his current salary.
The Frenchman showed strong interest and commitment even during the Bianconeri’s times of struggle last season. Massimiliano Allegri played an influential role in keeping the midfielder at the club which made him reject huge proposals from several Premier League clubs during last winter and this summer.Â
The club management now wants to reward Rabiot by making him the potential captain of the squad and extending his stay in black and white colours. While there has been some volatility in respect to his relationship with the coaching staff over the years, the 28-year-old always posed as a valuable asset and showed up in times of need for the club.Â
It is unsure whether the player is going to reduce his salary but negotiations are set to be initiated in the upcoming days.Â
