Juventus are interested in the possibility of signing Leeds’ Wilfried Gnonto and Galatasaray’s Nicolo Zaniolo.
La Gazzetta dello Sport today report that contact was made by Juve for the two players yesterday as Marco Busiello, one of the partners of agent Claudio Vigorelli, was at the club’s headquarters. They spoke about Gnonto and Zaniolo, even though no negotiations were held.
Everything depends on Federico Chiesa’s future, whose future is uncertain at the club. Liverpool and Bayern Munich are interested in the ex-Fiorentina man and Juve could be forced to sell if an offer of around €45 million arrives this summer. And if Chiesa leaves, Gnonto and Zaniolo would become key targets for the Old Lady.
Zaniolo’s contract at Galatasaray has a release clause but the Turkish club could settle for a lesser amount. As for Gnonto, Leeds’ relegation has anyway pushed him close to the exit door and he is likely to depart Elland Road this summer.
