Juventus make enquiry for Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips

Juventus are interested in signing a midfielder in January and they have made enquiries for Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

The Bianconeri have already lost Nicolo Fagioli because of the betting scandal and Paul Pogba is also likely to be banned from the sport for about two years. Juve, as a result, want to sign a midfielder and yesterday, Phillips was linked with the club, along with Arsenal’s Thomas Partey and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.

La Stampa (via TMW) today state that club directors Giovanni Manna and Cristiano Guintoli were in London and they watched Tottenham’s game against Chelsea, as they kept tabs on the situation of Højbjerg, who came on and put in a good performance. But as of now, Juve can’t afford to pay the Dane’s asking price.

As a result, they have made multiple enquiries for Man City’s Phillips recently to express their interest in landing the England international in January and have also knocked on Arsenal’s door to understand Partey’s situation.
