Juventus management set to stick with Max Allegri

Despite Juventus going trophyless in domestic competitions for another season and there being talk about uncertainty around Massimiliano Allegri’s position at the club, the Bianconeri seem set to trust the Italian.

Fabiana della Valle has reported that Allegri was left fuming after the loss to Inter recently and that was reflected in his rather fiery press conference, where he took shots at the Inter management. Tempers were flaring in the dressing room after the press conference ended too.

But while no official stance has been taken by the Bianconeri, the club’s management had a ‘relaxing’ phone conversation with Allegri yesterday in an attempt to calm down the manager. They still believe that the Italian is the man to lead the Old Lady project and they appreciate how calm he has been despite facing so many difficulties along the way this season.

The management wants to make sure that they held Allegri with day-to-day management of the club, so that he and the players are in the best possible condition to work.
