Juventus’ Nicolo Fagioli training normally amidst suspension risk in illegal betting case

Juventus’ Nicolo Fagioli faces the risk of being suspended indefinitely following his indictment in an illegal betting case but things seem rather normal at his end.

According to a report by Giovanni Albanese of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli remains calm in the situation of a possible suspension from club football due to his involvement in betting on illegal platforms.

The 22-year-old has trained regularly at Turin and reported to the public prosecutor’s office on August 30 to cooperate with the ongoing investigations. Public prosecutor Manuela Pedrotta summoned the player to clarify a round of betting on illegal platforms.

A decision is pending from the court regarding the matter and if Fagioli is found guilty, he can face suspension for an indefinite period of time from club football. Juventus hope to clear this matter soon and are expecting things to turn out positively for their player this time after losing Paul Pogba to legal orders earlier this season.
