Juventus ready to make offer for Benfica’s Alex Grimaldo

Juventus are all but set to make an attempt to sign Benfica’s Alex Grimaldo to sign him on a free transfer.

Daniele Longo has provided some details about the situation of the ex-Barcelona player, revealing that the left-back wants to play in Serie A in the future, with his current deal at Benfica expiring in the summer of 2023.

Milan did approach the player recently and asked about his situation, without going into too much detail. But the player is not keen on joining a club where he will not play regular football because of Theo Hernandez being their well-established option at left-back.

While Milan are not a great option for Grimaldo, Juve are much more attractive. The Bianconeri have remained in close contact with his entourage for sometime now and are ready to offer a three-year deal, such that he joins on a permanent basis. Alex Sandro is all but set to leave on a free transfer and Grimaldo is expected to replace him.
