Juventus to make last attempt for Adrien Rabiot contract renewal

Juventus are now set to make one last attempt to renew Adrien Rabiot’s contract at the club despite interest from elsewhere.

La Stampa have reported that Juve’s first priority is to sort out the situations of players whose contracts are expiring this summer. Apart from Juan Cuadrado, Juve are still trying to somehow renew Rabiot’s contract, which is currently expiring at the end of June.

Until now, a renewal was considered impossible but Juve have now scheduled a meeting with Veronique, the mother-agent of the Frenchman, to propose a one-year extension to the midfielder. This will allow Juve to take advantage of the Growth Decree regulations and so far, Rabiot is fairly happy at Juventus and nothing can be taken for granted.

Once Juve know that Rabiot will not sign a new deal, they will move on to pursue the signature of Davide Frattesi, who also interests Inter but a meeting was held with Sassuolo to discuss a potential deal for the Italian midfielder.
