The agent of Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has revealed that there will be changes in the Georgian’s deal, when he signs an extension.
Talk has been rife about the winger’s new deal and there has been talk about interest from other clubs as well. The Partenopei have held talks about a renewal, which hasn’t been signed yet. And it remains to be seen when he signs a deal, as interest in him ramps up.
Kvaratskhelia’s agent Mamuka Jugeli has been vocal about the situation of his client and he recently spoke to Georgian outlet Sport Imedi (via CalcioNapoli24) and he was asked about the potential renewal of the winger.
He said: “I take this opportunity to say that there will be changes in his contract in the near future. Khvicha is an excellent form this year. He improved a lot at Napoli and compared to previous seasons, his performance is better. The player’s father Badri Kvaratskhelia, agrees with me. He is more mature and plays like a star.”
Kvaratskhelia had initially gone without a goal for about three months during the campaign but the Georgian has returned to form this season. The 22-year-old has made 11 appearances in the Serie A, racking up three goals and picking up four assists as well. He has one assist in four Champions League games.
