Despite a very active transfer window thus far for the Biancocelesti, Lazio are not quite finished as the capital club have made contact with the entourage of Marseille midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the club have begun negotiation talks with the Frenchman’s representatives as Sarri favours the promising star over Udinese attacking-midfielder Lazar Samardzic.
Despite Lazio having acquired the services of Daichi Kamada and Nicolò Rovella within the central park, the former Juventus and Napoli coach feels the need of additional reinforcements within the midfield following the departure of star-player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Saudi club Al Hilal, resulting in the club turning towards the French international in order to fill the void within the squad.
As it stands, the Ligue 1 outfits are requesting a fee of €20m for the 24 year-old. However, an offer of €15m should be enough to convince Marseille in selling the former Arsenal midfielder.
