Lazio’s Ciro Immobile rejects Saudi Arabia approach

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile has pegged back an attempt from Saudi Arabia, despite being offered a hefty sum.

Il Messaggero (via TMW) today have reported about the situation of the Biancocelesti striker, who was offered a two-year deal worth €35 million per season by Saudi Arabia. But the striker has no intentions of leaving the club this summer and no other concrete offers have arrived so far for the Italy striker.

Immobile didn’t have the best of seasons in the 2022/23 campaign as he picked up some injuries during the league season. The 33-year-old made 33 appearances last season, scoring 12 times and racking up five assists on the way. During the campaign, he had picked up ankle, hamstring and other muscle issues that kept him out of action.

Lazio are already looking at a potential striker this summer and while that signing would only be a rotation option for Immobile, the Italian’s prominence is slowly reducing at the Olimpico.
