Leandro Paredes set for Paris Saint-Germain return from Juventus

Juventus midfielder Leandro Paredes is set to return to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

Paredes was a key target for the Bianconeri in the summer and he was expected to play a key role in midfield for the club, with there being suggestions that Max Allegri saw him as a vital part of his side.

La Repubblica now state that the relationship between the two has broken down and the Argentine is set to return to PSG in the summer after a failed loan spell. There is a lack of trust between the two and that is due to several factors.

Allegri did try to recover the relationship multiple times but things have not worked out. Allegri has had private conversations with the player in an attempt to bring out a positive reaction to his average performances but that solution hasn’t quite worked out either. As a result, Paredes remains a foreign element in the side.

He has been substituted at half-time in two games in recent weeks and was otherwise injured and that shows Allegri’s stance about the Argentine.

PSG will earn €2.5 million from the loan spell, which will end in the summer.
