Leeds United close to sealing Azzedine Ounahi move

Premier League outfit Leeds United are now close to sealing their move for Angers midfielder Azzedine Ounahi.

Il Mattino today have provided details about Napoli’s chase of the Moroccan midfielder, saying that the Partenopei have been interested in the player for a long time. But they froze their move and interest in the midfielder once they realised that an auction had opened up in the market for him.

Cristiano Guintoli is in no mood to enter an auction and Leeds are therefore close to sealing their move for the Angers star. They have put forward €25 million for the player and in Napoli’s case, Angers tried to keep changing the valuation by using different intermediaries to put forward new demands.

Leeds’ offer has surpassed that everyone else, including Leicester City, who had offered €18 million. But it now seems as if the Whites have trumped all the other parties and have sealed the deal.
