Leeds United make €28 million offer for Juventus’ Weston McKennie

Premier League side Leeds United have now finally made their first offer to sign Juventus’ Weston McKennie.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the offer from the Elland Road side is at €28 million. As of now, Juve want €35 million to sell the American but the gap between the two sides seems bridegable and they will talk further to reach an agreement for a permanent transfer.

It was previously reported that Leeds have already received an approval about the move from the American, who has essentially agreed personal terms with the Whites. His agent was recently in London to know more about the club’s offer to Juventus and help smoothen out the transfer.

Bournemouth were previously interested in McKennie and had made an offer. But the player was not keen on the move and it never materialised. Fulham and Aston Villa were also interested but they never made an offer for the player.
