Leeds Utd agree fee with Juventus for Weston McKennie

Leeds United have now reached an agreement with Juventus to sign Americann midfielder Weston McKennie this month.

The Whites have been looking to sign the player for some days ago and personal terms were previously agreed. Recently, Max Allegri confirmed in a press conference that the player is set to leave the Bianconeri after an agreement was reached with a potential suitor.

Gianluca di Marzio has now confirmed that an agreement with Leeds has indeed been reached by the Old Lady. McKennie will join Leeds on an initial loan deal worth €1.5 million. The loan deal will end in the summer and that is when Leeds will have the option to buy him permanently for €35 million, but the option could become an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met by the Yorkshire outfit.

Only some minor details regarding the transfer are missing and Leeds are working to define that with the player’s agents.
