Premier League side Leicester City are now unlikely to sign Fiorentina winger Nico Gonzalez this month.
La Viola have previously held discussions with the Foxes for the Argentine but Rocco Commisso has not given his approval for a move, with Fiorentina expected to give a solidarity fee to the player’s former clubs.
Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that Fiorentina’s first offer for the Argentine of 34 million was rejected by Fiorentina as it did not convince Commisso and his demands. Leicester are now set to make their last offer for the player in their attempt to convince Fiorentina to give in.
But as of now, it is unlikely that the situation will change and Fiorentina have decided to keep Gonzalez at the Franchi this month. Commisso is not willing to sell the player anymore and it is quite unlikely that the Florence club’s stance will change anymore, with Gonzalez all but set to stay.
