Leonardo Bonucci’s agent on Juventus future: “His main desire is to stay”

Leonardo Bonucci’s agent confirmed his client’s interest in continuing at Juventus for the new season.

Speaking in an interview with ANSA, Leonardo Bonucci’s agent Alessandro Lucci explained how despite numerous market rumours about his client, the 36-year-old remains committed to Juventus and is looking forward to his role as captain for the new season.

Lucci said: “I’m hearing a lot of imaginative market rumours about Bonucci, but his main desire is to stay at Juve of which he was captain until a few months ago, to carve out his role within such an important group, he is a world-class footballer”

While reaffirming Bonucci’s dedication for the Bianconeri, the player’s agent hinted that they would be considering opportunities if they match the level of the defender’s profile. He said: “Should market situations materialize, we would only consider opportunities up to his level to find the best solution for everyone”
