Lille striker Jonathan David is currently the favourite to replace Victor Osimhen at Napoli, with the Nigerianโs future uncertain.
Aurelio de Laurentiis today stated that there is an agreement to extend Osimhenโs Napoli contract till 2027 and Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the financial terms of that deal are yet to be agreed. Napoli have a meeting with Osimhenโs agent Roberto Calenda in the next few days to thrash out the terms and he would also speak about the amount Napoli want to sell the Nigerian.
Osimhen is open to listening to Napoliโs contract offer but if he does leave, Napoli see David as the favourite to replace him and he is also Rudi Garciaโs favourite candidate.
And when it comes to Garciaโs preferences, he prefers Lensโ Kevin Danso as a replacement for the outgoing Kim Min-Jae, who is close to joining Bayern Munich this summer. Garcia has already demanded for the Lens star, who took them to Champions League qualification this season.
