Manchester United are interested in Napoli’s Kim Min-Jae and they could outline their move for the South Korean by next month.
Marco Conterio has reported about United’s interest in the defender, stating that Red Devils’ contacts with those close to Kim isn’t a new thing, as first contact was made by the Premier League side during the FIFA World Cup. They indeed want to sign the defender this summer and are trying to come up with a move.
By the next 30 days, Erik ten Hag’s side could define the finances of their move and present an offer and there is a possibility that they end up triggering the South Korean’s release clause, which is valid for foreign clubs and can be activated in the first 15 days of June. The valuation of the clause is between €50 million to €60 million, depending on the financial might of the club.
It has been previously reported that Kim is keen on staying at Napoli and he could undergo military training during the team his release clause would be active.
