Premier League giants Manchester United have been hunting actively in the Serie A and they have recently come forward for Roma’s Leonardo Spinazzola.
Both of United’s left-back options – Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, are out injured and the club are looking to potentially land a left-back. Gianluca di Marzio has reported that United enquired about the possibility of signing Spinazzola from Roma this summer.
In recent weeks, Al Shabab also came forward for the Italy international but the move didn’t materialise and Spinazzola ended up staying at the Giallorossi.
The Azzurri star impressed at the Euros in 2021 but later picked up a serious injury which had kept him out of action for a lengthy period of time and he only returned to action last season for Jose Mourinho’s side after his stay out of action was prolonged. He has played both of the club’s Serie A games this season, with Roma failing to win even once.
