Manchester United make new offer for Atalanta’s Rasmus Højlund

Manchester United have now improved their offer for Atalanta striker Rasmus Højlund.

United recently made an offer for the Dane and it was at €50 million plus add-ons of €10 million and the deal was said to be progressing.

Fabrizio Romano has now reported that during talks with La Dea, the Red Devils have renewed and improved their offer for the 20-year-old and it will be a package of over over €60 million. Negotiations between the two clubs are now ongoing and United want to close the deal as soon as possible. The player is also keen to join the Old Trafford-based side and wants the move to be done soon.

It has been previously reported in Italy that Atalanta want €70 million plus bonuses and they are waiting for the offer to be made this week. It was also reported that the deal could close at the end of this week and these days are crucial in the saga.
