Manchester United to make André Onana offer by end of this month

Premier League side Manchester United are set to make an offer for André Onana by the end of June.

La Gazzetta dello Sport state that United did speak to Onana’s agent in Manchester yesterday and the player’s agent wanted to know about the club’s interest in the goalkeeper. United informed the agent that they would make an offer for Onana by the end of this month.

The offer is expected to be between €40 million and €50 million and it is a figure that could convince Inter about selling Onana this summer. There is said to be a special feeling between United boss Erik ten Hag and Onana, who first broke out as a star under the Dutchman at Ajax.

It was reported earlier today that United can’t go beyond €30 million for the goalkeeper due to a pending takeover but if they do manage to make a higher offer than that, it could be a positive sign that the club’s takeover might be about to be completed.
