Manchester United to seal André Onana move for less than €55 million

Premier League side Manchester United are all but set to sign André Onana but they will pay less than the initially reported €60 million for the Cameroonian.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that the saga involving Romelu Lukaku slowed down Inter’s sale of Onana but now that they have pulled out of the chase, Inter want to close the sale of the Cameroon international by tomorrow evening.

Inter are not looking to force their hand on earning more bonuses in the deal and it will now go through for less than €55 million. United will pay a base fee of €48 million or €50 million and the bonuses will make sure that the total deal will be of less than €55 million.

Inter want to free the goalkeeper by tomorrow, with Onana now waiting to fly to Manchester soon. After that, the Nerazzurri will sign two goalkeepers and they are expected to be Yann Sommer and Anatoliy Trubin.
