The idea of Barcelona and Inter swapping Franck Kessie and Marcelo Brozovic is still very much alive and it may yet happen this month.
It was recently reported that Inter and Barcelona have spoken through intermediaries about the potential deal after Kessie was offered to the Nerazzurri by Barcelona.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that while Memphis Depay’s agent has denied talk about the swap deal involving the Dutchman and Joaquin Correa, but the idea of a swap between Kessie and Brozovic still remains alive in the minds of the two clubs.
A lot of it depends on Barcelona, who will have to give Kessie a concrete reason for why he is being moved on so quickly and whether he would like to leave the club only six months after joining. The wishes of the two players will be vital in the move and if they approve, only then it would take off.
