Marco Verratti’s agent on his future: “We will see”

Rafaela Pimenta, Marco Verratti’s agent, has spoken about the midfielder’s future at Paris Saint-Germain amidst links with a move back to Italy.

Reports recently stated that Verratti has had a telephonic conversation with Roma boss Jose Mourinho, who wants to manage him at Roma. But a move remains complex since the midfielder earns a lot at Paris Saint-Germain and the Giallorossi would struggle to pay a similar amount.

Amidst doubts about Verratti’s future at PSG, Pimenta spoke to Sky Italia about the midfielder’s future and she revealed that Italian’s future will be sorted out after a vacation.

She said: “We need to 2-3 weeks to understand the various movements, it’s still early. Verratti in Italy? He plays in the national team, more Italian than that. Now he’s on vacation and let’s not think about his future, then we’ll see.”

Verratti has also been linked with a move to Juventus in recent weeks and he is said to be a Bianconeri fan but that move also remains complex because of the player’s wage demands.

In the 2022/23 season, Verratti made 29 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG and he played seven Champions League games, racking up one assist for the club.
