Marseille have increased their offer to sign Verona midfielder Ivan Ilic, with Torino still in the chase.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Torino did meet the agent of the player last night and it is expected that the next few days could be vital for his future at Verona. Marseille meanwhile, have offered €15 million plus bonuses for Ilic and the race is hotting up.
Marseille want to sign Ilic now but want to keep him on loan at Verona for the second half of the season and have him back in the summer. Igor Tudor is said to keep a keen eye on Serie A players even after having departed the league and that is evident from Marseille’s signing of Ruslan Malinovskyi.
As of now, Torino’s offer is lower than what Marseille are offering and it is expected that Ilic’s will is going to be key in the deal.
