Mateo Retegui prefers Inter move as Eintracht Frankfurt push

German side Eintracht Frankfurt are pushing for a move for Tigre and Italy striker Mateo Retegui, who prefers a move to Inter.

Sky Italia have reported that the German club Eintracht Frankfurt have been pushing for a move for Retegui in the last few hours and are hoping to find an agreement for the Italian. They want to bring the 23-year-old to Germany at the beginning of next season, as Tigre will sign him permanently from Boca Juniors and then sell him on.

But the player prefers a move to Inter, who have been keeping tabs on him for a while now. The Nerazzurri are currently looking to fix some other priorities in the side and that is why they’re not paying too much attention to Retegui’s situation. It is yet to be ascertained as to whether Retegui will wait for Inter to move or if he will join Eintracht Frankufrt.

Back in Argentina after matches against England and Malta, Retegui scored against Lanus, giving Tigre the victory in the 99th minute. For the Italian-Argentinean it is the sixth goal in nine games of the season.
