Max Allegri after Juventus’ win over Cagliari: “Inter have been built to win the scudetto for the next five years”

Juventus boss Max Allegri has stated his belief about the fact that Inter are the favourites for the Scudetto, despite the Bianconeri’s 2-1 win over Cagliari.

Juve scored two goals against Claudio Ranieri’s Cagliari, with Bremer and Daniele Rugani scoring one goal each. Alberto Dossena pulled one back but it was only a consolation.

As a result of the win, Juve climbed to the top of the table for the time being, with Inter to play their game in hand tomorrow. But despite JUve’s position at the top, Allegri believes that Inter remain favourites to win the league but they may not be the team to bet on for one-offs.

The Italian told DAZN (via TMW) after the game: “In a one-off game I don’t know, but Inter are the favourites for the Scudetto. Inter have been built to win the scudetto for the next 5 years and they are this year too.”

Juve have lost only one game this season and that loss came against Sassuolo earlier in the season and while they have scored only 19 times in the season so far, they have let in only seven goals and that is the second best defensive record in the season so far.
