Max Allegri at risk of Juventus exit in the summer

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri will be at risk of being sacked by the Bianconeri in the summer if the club does not meet the objectives.

The Bianconeri lost 5-1 to Napoli yesterday in what was a desolate performance. Juve slipped to third in the table and Inter’s game against Verona will decide if they could also slip to fourth in the standings. There is a much higher possibility of the club’s top four spot being under threat.

Corriere della Sera have stated that Allegri’s future will be in immediate threat if he does not meet the goals for the campaign, with the new board set to take office on the 18th of this month.

Juve believe that they can’t miss out on the top four as it will worsen their financial situation. The Champions League exit has cost the club €70 million and the club are already €238 million in the redline. If they don’t make it to the top four this season, Allegri will be on the way and the Napoli loss was a warning.

La Gazzetta dello Sport believe that the club have to win a trophy this season as well, for Allegri to stay in the job.
