Max Allegri wants Milan’s Ricky Massara as next Juventus sporting director

Milan are looking to sign Milan’s Ricky Massara as their next sporting director.

Fabiana della Valle has reported that while Cristiano Guintoli and Sassuolo’s Giovanni Rossi are also liked by the current Juventus board, Massara’s profile is very dear to Max Allegri, who wants the Milan sporting director at the Bianconeri.

Massara knows a total of five languages and he was teammates with Allegri as a player. Both of them have had a solid bond for years now and they once celebrated Pescara’s promotion to Serie A together as players of the team.

Massara’s recruitment has played a key role in Milan’s rise back to the top of Serie A and his signings of players such as Mike Maignan, Rafael Leao and Fikayo Tomori has proved vital to their successes. Juventus are thinking about bringing him to the club, even though they know that it won’t be an easy move.

Decisions like these will be finalised on the 18th of January, which is when the new board will meet.
