Serie A side Milan aim to sign forward Marcus Thuram on a free transfer this summer amidst Paris Saint-Germainโs interest.
According to a report by journalist Luca Bianchin of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri are increasingly becoming optimistic about a positive answer from Marcus Thuram.ย
Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have already offered the Frenchman a highly increased salary. While it was thought that the player would immediately sign the high-value contract, he is yet to respond to the interested parties.ย
As he ponders his future, the 25-year-old is reportedly thinking about a move to Milan where he will get the deserved respect and become a first-team member of the squad.ย
However, the Rossoneri are unable to match the playerโs salary expectations. While they dream of an attacking future with Rafael Leao and Marcus Thuram leading the lines from both flanks, the club is also lining up alternatives, should they fail to sign legend Lilian Thuramโs son.
West Hamโs Gianluca Scamacca and Portoโs Mehdi Taremi are also being approached by Milan for a possible transfer this summer. It seems like the club will await Thuramโs decision which is set to arrive soon and then will discuss whether to strengthen the attacking department further.
