Serie A giants Milan have held positive initial talks for Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy.
The Rossoneri want to sign a striker in January and a host of names have been written about. Daniele Longo has reported that Stuttgart’s Guirassy is now the Diavolo’s Plan A, with his release clause for January said to be a very appealing prospect.
Yesterday, the Milan management held discussions with the agents of the 27-year-old striker and the talks were so positive that real negotiations will begin in the next few hours. The idea is that Guirassy will stay at Stuttgart till the end of the season and then move to Milan in the summer.
Premier League clubs such as Newcastle United, Manchester United and West Ham are interested annd Milan believe that an auction could be triggered especially when it comes to the player’s salary. They have the player’s approval for the move already and want to make progress over a deal as quickly as they can to beat competition.
