Milan make contact for Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Milan are interested in signing Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek and have made contact to potentially sign the Englishman.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara consider Loftus-Cheek to be someone who fits the mould of the project at the club and the club’s management has a big liking for him. He is set to leave Chelsea in the summer, with the Rossoneri already working on improving their side after the Champions League exit on Tuesday.

Milan have now held talks with Chelsea for Loftus-Cheek and they know that some work will have to be done to find an agreement with the Blues. As things stand, the midfielder is considered to be an important signing who can bolster Stefano Pioli’s side.

This season, the 27-year-old has made 22 games for Chelsea and has one assist to his name. He has played seven times in the Champions League. He did assist for Chelsea in their 3-0 win over Milan in the group stages of the competition.
